Tarzan of the playground
Hello everybody, it's me Junior Solitary Reaper here. A big thank you to all of you who sent your compliments to amma on reading my earlier blog. It has inspired me to write one more in quick succession. I have realised that writing about my adventures gives me more pleasure than singing Old Mc Donald. Yes you read it right; I can sing that nursery rhymes and many more. I have gone a step further and added wild animals into it. Why should kids sing only about farm animals? The poor wild animals were getting really sad that they were not invited on OMD's farm. So I thought "hey, I play with both farm and wild animals in the bath tub while I take a bubble bath therefore I should include both in the song". Now I have Moo cow playing together with Roar lion. All the animals are very happy now.
Talking of being happy the other day I was happily watching an episode of Lion Guard when I saw something very funny. A long haired guy with only his under pants was jumping from one tree to another in a forest and had a lot of animal friends. Appa said his name was Tarzan and that he lived in the forest. Now that's the kind of thing I would like to do. So the next day when I was playing in the nursery I to decided play on the slide. When I got to the top of it I thought "I have been sliding down this slide every single day for the past two years. I must do something different now that I am a big boy". I then remembered that funny guy in under pants. If he could jump from a tree then I can easily jump from my slide. Thinking so I took a great big leap. I am flying, I am flying and then..... CRASH!!!!Oh dear instead of landing on my feet I landed on my face. Ouch!!!Tarzan did not do that. My face started stinging and I felt like crying. I did and my teacher picked me up. She washed my face and applied some soothing cream. Though I hated her for touching my face my skin did not sting anymore. Somehow I messed my jump. The funny guy never fell down from the tree. I may have fallen down because I was fully clothed. The next time I will try to jump only in my nappy. I think I can ace it then. But trying to take my clothes off in front of my teacher will be very tricky. I have to hoodwink her somehow.
But anyway not to worry. I checked myself in the mirror today and my face looks fine except for a few scratches. I thought of hiding them under a thin layer of makeup but I rather like it this way as I can boast to my friends about my epic adventure and show my battle scars as proof. Amma says they will all vanish in a day or two. So I better hurry up and tell my story to as many friends as possible. Hey hey that's Rudy and Isobel; let me go and tell them too. Bye bye.... talk to you soon.
