Hello everybody. Amma tells me that many of you who read my first blog really liked it and sent your compliments to amma. A big thank you for all your comments. They have inspired me to write once again about my exciting day to day activities.
In a week's time I will be 9 months old. I will be entering into the last quarter of my first year. Ooh time just flies; I better buck up and present an impressive first year activity report card.
Hmmm, so what's new in my life now? NURSERYYYYYY! It had been 3 weeks since I started attending the nursery. I go 3 days a week to the nursery and spend about two and a half hours every session. Do I like it there? Of course I do. I love the garden with so many outdoor toys. Once I get there I have so many distractions that I don't even see amma waving me goodbye and telling me that she will be back soon. I ride on Sherry's hips as I still cannot walk on my own. There was a bubble machine installed there the other day and I loved playing with the bubbles. Once I get indoors there are so many other toys to play with. I don't know why Amber takes me away during lunch time to eat. I should be allowed to continue to play as there are so many things to still lick, taste and play with. Hold on! Is there banana on the menu today or an oatmeal cookie? If yes then count me in because I love to eat them.
Appa says I have learnt a lot after joining the nursery. For instance I have become mobile now. I still cannot crawl but I pull myself forward on my tummy like a seal. I am freeeeee to move around anywhere I want. Now I don't have to wait for the toys to mysteriously come to me whereas I can get my hands on anything I want. Appa and amma were so excited with this development but now they keep bringing me back to my playmat whenever I make a long trek to the TV stand or the cell phone charger. I just can't fathom their anxiety when I try to taste electrical wires. Oh these grown ups!
The next funny thing that I can do now is sit up straight on my own. I can now easily reach mummy's books on the shelf when I sit up. The other day I so badly wanted to browse through mummy's fat books. It took great strategy to accomplish this mission. I went into stealth mode and reached the bookshelf without a peep. When I reached it I got the vantage point by hoisting myself up to the sitting position. Lo and behold, not only could I touch the books but I could also pull them down. That blew my cover as the neatly stacked books fell down with a thud and amma was by me in an instant. I was ready to get told off but surprisingly amma was filming my every move with a smile. Considering my mission accomplished I let her take me away and restack her books. Once I have made up my mind I always accomplish my missions. I do not let any toy or pillow come in my way as I steamroll over them although my tummy hurts a bit later. My latest mission is to hide behind curtains. What's the use of having such colourful long curtains if I can't hide behind them? Hmmm tasty.....
Speaking of taste amma says two more of my teeth are sprouting. That explains why I was feeling so weird in my mouth. More the merrier; I can now bite amma even harder when she feeds me fruits and vegetables. I can trouble amma further by pushing out the food using my tongue. I never knew one could do that. Interesting thing this tongue is.
What is this liquid trickling down my nose? Appa says I have my first runny nose. Is my nose running away? But its good for me as amma is giving me more water to drink than ever.
Ok people, I can see my water cup in amma's hand. Let me have a sip and continue to play.
